My job is mobile and I split my time working alternate weeks in Norfolk and Nottinghamshire. I drive down country roads, enjoying rural England through the seasons.

I stopped and took this on the road from Holt to Cromer yesterday (Thursday).  It's not a great shot but i wanted a field post-harvest and this fitted the bill.

We seem to have gone from summer heatwave to early Autumn in just a matter of days.  The days are shortening - dark by half 9 tonight - and there's a lovely nip to the morning air.

I love to see the harvest in and the fields neatly ploughed up for next year's crops. I love the crisp chill mornings, the Autumn colours muting the countryside.
